What’s happening in my world….
We are having a glorious Spring day here in New Jersey for Mother’s Day. We celebrated yesterday with MB and the babes, so today is quiet – as I like it!

May 11 – Another cool beautiful day around here. I took time to plant the flowers I got for Mother’s Day from dear daughter. They are my usual safe impatiens and some new star flower plants. Now the porch planters are full, and the ancient urn in the yard is blooming. I have oodles of extras and will put them in the back yard flower bed.
I am waiting for my yard guy to come do the Spring clean up. He seems to have disappeared, and I hate to go through getting someone else. We have used him for years.
The yard, however, is raggedy and overgrown and needs help soon.
Terrible news about the soldier who killed five fellow soldiers in Baghdad. All were in a stress unit there. Let’s just get out of there!! It will take years for the men and women who served to gain a measure of normality.
